Finance & Banking, Associazione per lo Sviluppo Organizzativo e delle Risorse Umane (EFFEBI) (IT)

Finance & Banking, Organisational & HR development Association – EFFEBI Association is a non-profit organization set up in 1978. Since its foundation it has been a reference point for people involved HR management and development and organizational models, mainly for the banking & financial sector. Members of the Association are the leading Italian Banking groups and medium/small Banks.

At international level, EFFEBI is a funder member of EBTN (European Banking and Financial Services Training Association) and is actively involved in its activities. The Association keeps significant relationships with other Institutions, Associations, Universities, Schools, Enterprises and Organisations active in the field of HR Management and Development. In addition, it is a Member of European forum of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (EfVET) that is one of the leading European-wide professional associations which has been created by, and for, Vocational Education and Training (VET) providers. EfVET aims to provide a transnational framework to support all co-operative actions aimed at enhancing and improving technical and vocational education and training. It gathers over 1.500 VET Providers from 27 European countries.

Very relevant is that – from January 2019 – EFFEBI is Founding Member of the Centre for Research and European Studies – future business (CRES-fb). CRES aims to realise studies, researches and European projects in order to improve active citizenship and promote European Policies in Education and Training areas. CRES-fb Founders are 10 Centres of Excellence, from 8 European Countries (IT, EL, ES, DE, PT, SE, MT, RU) and active on different sectors, ensuring a high-quality level and an interdisciplinary approach. In Italy, EFFEBI is coordinating the Laboratory on Training Paradigms to identify and define analysis, trends and good practices in the field of professional training. The Association ensures the publication of the three-monthly journal «FB-BANCA inFORMAZIONE» to support the innovation and professionalism in the field and strengthen the cooperation among Members.

Key staff involved in the project:

Prof. Mario Spatafora is the President of CRES-fb and the General Secretary of Effebi Association where he is also European Projects Coordinator, responsible for identifying project ideas and appropriate Partnerships.

Alessia Spatafora: Graduated from the University “Roma Tre” in Architecture, in 2006. She attended Postgraduate Specialization at the “Specializing School for Environmental and Cultural Heritage” at the University of Roma “La Sapienza” on the protection, safeguard, reuse, and valorization of Europe’s cultural heritage. Today, she is involved in the management of several European Projects as Project Manager within EFFEBI Association and as Managing Director within CRES-fb. 

Carlotta Crippa: Graduated from Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna in 2020. She attended a Master’s degree course in European Project Planning and Management, with a particular focus on Erasmus+ programme. Since then, she started working as a junior project manager, supporting EFFEBI and CRES-fb in their activities.

ROLE WITHIN PLASTEAM PROJECT:

Due to its consolidated experience with Quality Assurance as well as with EU Projects, EFFEBI will be the methodological coordinator who will have the role of guaranteeing the coherence and the harmonization of the working process from the methodological point of view throughout the overall period of the project. It will support the coordinator in the Quality evaluation of the project activities and results, also by subcontracting an external evaluator. Furthermore, it will lead the IO2 as it can assure to this output a comprehensive approach and will organize the training event to spread the IO3 outcomes among its network of educators.
